Sabina Ramsey

Sabina Ramsey’s passion for elevating women into leadership position started early on in her career as she academically became aware of gender bias women face in the workforce while doing research for the Center of Public Health in Sweden. She later experienced the challenges women face head-on, being fired the day she turned 30 from a prominent leadership position in a male dominated industry. It made her decide to challenge herself, live with passion in her heart, and pursue entrepreneurship. Moving to the United States in her early thirties with three children, she became an entrepreneur, dedicated to succeed in all of her roles as a leader, business owner, mother, and wife. Today, she leads an all-female strategic branding and marketing firm dedicated to delivering exceptional care and service to clients across the United States. She is an advocate for understanding gender bias and the benefits of working towards diverse leadership in business and in the workforce. Sabina is passionate about creating opportunities for women, increasing their visibility, power, financial independence, and status in the community. As a past president of the local National Association of Women Business Owners chapter, she kickstarted the “Owning It” movement to create awareness of women business owners’ successes, exceptional work, and needs. She succeeded in almost doubling the organization’s membership within one year and was asked by the national organization to sit on their nominating committee. Sabina is proud to have received awards and recognitions for her leadership such as the Above and Beyond Leadership Award, Shining Star Award, and Buffalo Niagara Sales & Marketing Executives Elite Award. Although she is still actively promoting women business owners, she is broadening her effort to elevate women into leadership positions with Lead Up for Women.
